JJ-LAPP a joint venture between the Jebsen and Jessen Group and LAPP Holding Asia, is celebrating several recent achievements across six countries, all of which continue to contribute to its reputation as a leader in sustainable business solutions.
In Indonesia, JJ-LAPP, beat off strong competition and won the deal. When considering the 4.5 MWp solar photovoltaic system design, the decision maker highlighted the strong technical approach and ample stock provisions as key elements of the win. Comprehensive technical training was provided on-site, along with a detailed market comparison of the product offering. Along with strong availability and competitively priced product options, this meant that JJ-LAPP stood head and shoulders above the competition.
In a slew of recent collaborations, JJ-LAPP has further contributed to several projects to achieve clients’ environmental ambitions in tandem with commercial outcomes. These ventures demonstrate the long-term value that sustainable options can offer.
Ground-mounted solar farms in Vietnam and Malaysia that suffer from frequent flooding were boosted in their development with waterproof solar pv cable solutions. Speciality waterproof solar pv connectors and solar pv cables were also supplied to a 5 MWp floating solar pv farm in Thailand, as well as one of the largest floating solar pv farms in Singapore.
In each of these instances, the ÖLFLEX® SOLAR XLWP, with its superior ability to perform permanently underwater, provided an exceptional solution to the challenging conditions.
Additionally, in the Philippines, JJ-LAPP supported connectivity solutions to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to support remote village power supply, particularly during peak hours. The site has a capacity of 35 MWh.
First achieving carbon neutrality in 2011, JJ-LAPP is continuously pioneering more sustainable outcomes for clients across the region, and is committed to building a greener future through robust renewable technologies.
